RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is basically a method of sharing frequently updated news, such as blog posts, between websites, with you opting in as an interested subscriber. By now I’m sure we’re all familiar with those (usually orange) universal RSS feed icons, on webpages. They also appear in the page or site address bar, and act as hyperlinks to website feeds where you can subscribe and begin to immediately receive updates to your computer or mobile, as new information is released by the site owner.
